Alesha Nichols

Alesha Nichols is a family law and criminal defense attorney licensed in both Idaho and Texas, dedicated to protecting her clients’ rights and guiding them through some of the most challenging moments of their lives. In criminal defense, she has represented individuals facing misdemeanor and felony charges, bringing a thoughtful, strategic approach to every stage of a case—from negotiations to jury trial. She brings the same approach to her clients trying to navigate divorce and custody disputes while looking out for their best interests.

Alesha’s background gives her a well-rounded perspective in the courtroom. Before transitioning fully into family law or defense work, she served as an Assistant District Attorney in Texas, where she handled hundreds of cases and tried multiple jury trials. This experience provides valuable insight into how cases are evaluated, prosecuted, and tried, allowing her to anticipate challenges and advocate effectively for her clients.

She earned her Juris Doctor from SMU Dedman School of Law in Dallas and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Tech University, graduating summa cum laude. Known for her strong work ethic and practical communication style, Alesha prides herself on being both a fierce advocate and a steady, approachable guide for her clients.

Outside the courtroom, she’s a big animal lover, who loves spending time with her family and friends and eating chips and queso. Alesha also has a creative side—she’s an artist at heart—and believes that a little creativity can go a long way, even in the practice of law.
